..The main ideas that prompted "BIG" in
the beginning were simple, strait forward solutions to the concepts of
networking, advertising and facilitating the local marketplace. In
short, we've built a better mouse trap. A new and better way to attract
more business to your business! |

The first concern of every business, large or small,
is cost.
Q. How much does it cost to be a member and what
kind of a return can I expect from my investment?
A. A one time $25 registration fee and $20 per
month membership dues will be paid on a semi-annual basis ($145
first 6 months, $120 each 6 month period thereafter). 50% of all
member's dues remain with the group and are earmarked for
advertising. This combined with the increase in trade generated for
your business by the "BIG" organization amplifies the
return on your investment many times
-
Merchants, especially small business owners, are
strong minded individuals that like to do things their way.
Q. Who's in charge and will anyone be telling me how to run my
business?
A. No one is in charge! There is no President or Vice-president!
There is ,however, an officiating member that runs the meeting. A
different member each week eliminates the possibility of any one
member or group of members becoming all powerful. As long as all
member merchants adhere to a basic code of business ethics that
reinforce the ability of other members to refer customers, operating
decisions are left strictly up to the owner.
-
All businesses, regardless of their product, rely on
their quality of service to generate repeat business.
Q. As a small business owner, what kind of services can I expect
from my Business Improvement Group?
A. First and foremost "BIG" will take care of the business
of Networking while you tend to the day-to-day operation of your
business. Providing all the paperwork, guidelines, forms, accounting
routines and tools needed to be a successful "BIG"
associate. Also provided will be cooperative ideas that will help
market your group and your individual business.

The concept of a Business
improvement group is vast and varied and takes on new characteristics
with each and every new member. The original idea and continued focus
point is to help other merchants in your community create more business.
The age old "Givers Gain" concept implies that what ever
business you give your fellow members, will be returned to you magnified
by the number of members in your group. Then strengthened again by the
number of groups in the "BIG" picture. |
|
Don’t pass up this opportunity to give your
business a "BIG" boost.
